More foldable phones but in budget

In 2020, we witnessed the launch of several foldable phones in the country as well as globally. From Samsung to LG and many other brands tried their hands on foldable devices. In 2021, we could see more and more foldable phones available for consumers. Currently, foldable phones come with an expensive price tag, this year such fancy foldable screen devices can get cheaper than before so more and more consumers can use them.

Bendable laptops

We have started depending on laptops for our everyday work more than ever before. This year we could expect bendable screen laptops to get real and leave the concept stage. No brands have confirmed any laptop brands with bendable screens.

5G in worldwild 

5G could finally get real in the India this year. Major telecom operator of the country Reliance Jio has already confirmed details on testing 5G network in India. The company hinted that 5G rollout should begin in the country later this year once the network gets a go ahead from the respective departments of the country.

Most of us spent 2020 inside our homes and that increased more opportunities for the smart home brands present in the country. This year could witness the launch of more and more smart home products ranging from smart lights, smart home cameras and more.

This year’s iPhones missed chargers in the box. Following Apple, Xiaomi also skipped the in-box charge for the Mi 11 but the brand is offering the charger for free if the consumer requires it. In 2021, we can expect more and more brands to follow the ongoing trend and skip chargers in the box this year. Well, we believe it isn't a great thing if missing charges in the box becomes the trend of 2021.

More and more video calling platforms

Video calling platforms have become our lifeline in the last one year. Last year platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Skype, Google Meet and more gained wide popularity.
